How to apply Sorbact® Compress

1

Clean the wound, place the compress directly on the wound surface, folded or unfolded.

2

If the wound is deep, fluff up the compress and push it down into the wound without compressing it. If the compress needs to be cut, dispose of any excess material.

3

Cover with an absorbent dressing and if necessary fix in place with a bandage or tape. It can stay on for several days depending on the state of the wound.

Caution! At the first sign of infection (redness, swelling, pain, warm skin), contact a healthcare professional. Do not use together with ointments and creams. If the dressing dries out or sticks to the wound, it can be moistened with water or a 0.9% saline solution to allow easy removal and avoid disrupting the healing process.
