Clean the wound as instructed by your vet. Choose a suitable dressing size. The dressing should overlap the edges of the wound by at least 1 cm. Remove the dressing from the packaging without touching the green Sorbact® surface. Use sterile scissors if the dressing needs to be cut. Any remaining opened and unused parts of the dressing should be discarded.

A comfortable all-in-one dressing that reduces microbial load
Sorbact® Foam Gentle Border is a sterile, self-adhesive, absorbent wound dressing that binds bacteria and fungi. It consists of a green Sorbact® wound contact layer, combined with polyurethane foam, gentle self-adhesive silicone edges, and a vapor-permeable, polyurethane backing film. Sorbact® Foam Gentle Border has a wide range of uses and is suitable for many types of wounds.
Intended use
Sorbact® Foam Gentle Border is designed for use in the treatment of clean, contaminated, colonized, or infected wounds with moderate levels of exudation.
Remove the protective film from the wound contact area. Affix the dressing. Do not stretch the dressing. Ensure the green side of the dressing is in direct contact with the entire wound surface. Press the edges lightly onto the surrounding skin. If necessary, the dressing can be adjusted and reapplied.
Redressing suggestions: Re-affix with gauze, thin cotton, or Softban.
Place cotton around the leg.
Place gauze around the cotton, first loosely and then gradually tighter, to stabilize the bandage. Tie with a small knot on the front of the leg or side of the tibia to ensure there is no pressure on the tendons.
Vetwrap: Begin with the middle of the bandage, before moving downwards and then upwards. Not too tight; you should be able to insert your finger between the bandage and the leg once you have finished. Never bind Vetwrap directly onto the fur, as it could injure the leg.
