Clean the wound as instructed by your vet. Choose a suitable dressing size. Remove the dressing from the packaging without touching the green Sorbact® surface. Any remaining opened and unused parts of the dressing should be discarded.

Sorbact® Superabsorbent is a sterile, bacteria-binding, super-absorbent wound dressing. It consists of a green acetate wound contact surface, combined with a super-absorbent core and a white waterproof backing film. Sorbact® Superabsorbent absorbs and retains wound fluid, thereby reducing the risk of maceration, and maintains a moist wound environment. The high absorption capability of Sorbact® Superabsorbent also helps to reduce the number of dressing changes.
Intended use
Sorbact® Superabsorbent is designed for use in the treatment of clean, contaminated, colonized, or infected wounds that are exuding and where the fluid level is moderate to severe.

Apply the dressing. Ensure the green side of the dressing is in direct contact with the entire wound surface.

Redressing suggestions: Affix with a product such as Vetwrap.
How often the dressing needs to be changed will depend on how much the wound is exuding and its general condition. The dressing can be used as part of compression treatment.
